The Pause Wallet Wallet and Pause WalletSafe applications ("Services") are software tools for managing cryptocurrency. Nothing in the Services, on our website, or in our communications constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and speculative. You could lose some or all of your investment. Always do your own research and consult qualified professionals.

No Guarantee of Security

While Pause Wallet is designed with multiple layers of security — including time-locked transfers, transaction revocation, and wallet isolation — no software can guarantee absolute protection against all threats. Potential risks include but are not limited to:

Software bugs or vulnerabilities
Blockchain network issues, congestion, or protocol changes
Device compromise (malware, keyloggers, physical access)
Smart contract exploits on the underlying blockchain
User error (lost seed phrases, wrong addresses, forgotten PINs)
Third-party service outages (Supabase, Alchemy, blockchain nodes)

Beta Software

The Services are currently in beta and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior. By using beta software, you accept that:

Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
Data loss is possible
Transaction processing may be delayed or fail
The Services may be temporarily unavailable

We are actively developing and improving the Services, but beta is beta.

Self-Custody Responsibility

Pause Wallet is a self-custody wallet. You — and only you — control your private keys and seed phrases. We cannot:

Recover lost seed phrases or PINs
Reverse completed blockchain transactions
Access or freeze your funds
Guarantee transaction execution or timing

Testnet vs. Mainnet

The Services may operate on Ethereum testnets (e.g., Sepolia) or mainnet. Testnet tokens have no real-world value. When switching to mainnet, you are using real cryptocurrency with real financial risk. Ensure you understand which network you are operating on.

Patent Pending

Pause Wallet's technology is protected by provisional patents filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Patent pending status does not guarantee that patents will be granted.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Pause Wallet, ITS CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DIGITAL ASSETS, PROFITS, DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
